Incensed in 2012 in its Factory version, the RSV4 arrives for 2013 in this delivered R intended for the “common run” of the motorcyclists… or almost. Like his/her sister Aprilia RSV4 Factory, the Aprilia RSV4 R asserts the DNA of that which was essential in world SBK on Brno as of its first season and aspired to eight podiums. Opposing a competition already in the blow to the Japanese’s of the category, elitist Factory marketed since May 2009 can, with its adjustable frame, to align itself on all the grids of the world without too many modifications. Less expensive from 5,000 € than the Aprilia RSV4 which it aimed Ducati 1198 rather, this RSV4R comes this time to go directly on the punts bands of sporting Japanese women (CBR1000RR, ZX- 10R, GSX-R 1000 and R1 Cross Plane)… and of ambitious BMW. We will test the road effectiveness of this R, model “general public” and of its engine 100 horses attached electronically at the time of a forthcoming test. The test of the wet track brings to us for the moment only little teaching. Because the journalists not being (all) pilots of SBK (and even less World SBK!), determine with difficulty the limits of the tires rain and more still unequal adherence of the track of Estoril.
