Our session of tests of the range motor bike cross-country race 2013 in Reygades is concluded with the passage to the screen from the 250 and Suzuki RMZ 450 … but at Suzuki, when there is not more, there are still! It is, very fresh there defect world champion MX1, and it tightens us the arms! It, it is undoubtedly the official motor bike of mild Desalle, one of 450 most powerful of World plate MX1.

The brakes of factory make also strong impression: it is progressive, and what a power!
The quiet force, but not always!
When one sees swindling mild Desalle, a leaf with very generous piloting sometimes, one thinks that the engine of its Suzuki must shake a little. Well not as much as that, in fact! Rather accessible, very linear, the Suzuki RMZ450 factory appears even exploitable. For as much, its force is phenomenal: not need for clutch to arise from the movable supports… This couple is so important that one does not see too much the utility to go up in the turns, the more so as that goes already very quickly, the history!
Believe me, with an in top form shock absorber which makes perfectly pass all the power on the ground and an engine to the optimal output, the turns arrive more quickly than usually on Suzuki Factory! In spite of that, one can remain on the same report and push a little more the engine. No concern: mechanics does not balk, and still does not lose in demolition. In fact there is all in this engine!
Hold, on the handlebar, a small button allows changing curve to pass in mode “powerful”. In here is an idea that it is good… and that we hastened to test! And there, from a motor bike rather accessible to the common run of people, one passes to a malicious ball of nerve… A solo circuit will be enough to tear off the arms. And to note that finally, it is too violent the business!
Assessment: The accessible performance
For 2012, the Suzuki binomial – De-salted undoubtedly hoped to approach the title: the objective is missed little. But ten podiums of GP of which two victories, it is nothing either and one can only think that the motor bike played a crucial role. Damage of having to return it to Suzuki staff: that would throw a max of them to roll in regional championship!
The suspensions forgive not bad of things and the engine is exploitable… if one can remain wise! Honestly, one does not see what there would be to repeat on the 450 official RM-Z 2012: effective and led in all points, only the placement of the handlebar pains to convince. But even as that, if it is given to us, one takes it nevertheless!
