There’s no better way to start out bike week than by shutting down Main Street with an epic party.
From March 7th through the 14th, Victory Motorcycles hosted a bike launch party and gave riders a full schedule of activities during Daytona Bike Week 2015. Between the Stunt team, the Owners Ride and the Midway Display, Victory Motorcycles had a powerful presence at Bike Week.
Victory started the week full volume by introducing the new Magnum X-1 at a party at the Full Moon Saloon on Main Street. The combination of the much-anticipated new Victory Magnum and the hard-rocking band Godsmack brought Main Street to a standstill on the first Saturday night of Bike Week. So many people filled the sidewalks and street near the Full Moon in hopes of seeing the band introduce the Magnum X-1 that traffic on the busiest street in Daytona Beach was completely shut down!
Victory also attracted large, awestruck crowds to the new Victory dealership on Beach Street, where the Victory Stunt Team performed several times during Bike Week. Riders Tony Carbajal and Joe Dryden performed wheelies, major burnouts, drifting, and more on a pair of stock Victory Gunners. They then performed several of the same impressive feats on two supercharged Victory baggers. No one in the audience had ever seen full-sized baggers maneuvered with such skill and power.
On Thursday of Bike Week, Victory owners took part in the annual Victory Owners Ride. After meeting at the Blue Grotto in Daytona Beach for breakfast, Victory owners took a scenic ride on a northwesterly inland route that took them along the St. John’s River before they turned toward the coast. The Victory owners took over Panama Hattie’s in St. Augustine for a lunch and party that served as the annual Victory family reunion.
Victory also had a powerful presence at famed Daytona International Speedway, where a must-see Victory Midway Display attracted large crowds all week. The display included several Victory customs, photo ops with the new Magnum X-1, then chance to purchase Victory apparel, the opportunity to register to win the Ness Buffalo Chip Victory Custom – and much more.
On the back side of the Speedway, Victory provided eager riders with demo rides throughout the rally. The large fleet of Victory motorcycles was busy all week, especially the new Magnum X-1 models that people wanted to be the first to experience for themselves.
For Victory and all Victory owners, Daytona 2015 was the biggest and best Bike Week ever. Victory can’t wait to see everyone next year at the 75th Anniversary of Daytona Bike Week!
